Directions & Parking: The office is conveniently located near the I-15 freeway off-ramps at 106th South and 90th South. It is on the south side of 9400 South in the Southwood Medical Plaza (behind the Mountain America Credit Union). We are located in the building marked 870. Our office is accessed through the “C” doors. Ample free parking is available in the front and rear of the building. If you utilize public transportation, the F94 bus line stops on 9400 South in front of our office. It is accessible from the Historic Sandy TRAX station at 9000 South. The office is also within walking distance of the Sandy Expo TRAX Station.

Courtney Archer, MSW, Certified Social Worker

Courtney enjoys helping couples, individuals, and families with a wide range of relationship challenges and mental health difficulties. Courtney has been working in the mental health field for the majority of her adult career, and has experience working with couples and individuals. She also enjoys assisting veterans and their family members, elders and their caregivers, individuals with autism and other learning disorders, and people experiencing depression, anxiety, and chronic mental illness. She also has an understanding of how mental health and physical health are intertwined, and how mentally exhausting dealing with a physical condition can be and vice versa. She respects the individual strength within every person, and works to help people rediscover that strength. When Courtney isn’t in the office, you’re most likely to find her curled up in a corner reading a good book, or playing disc golf with her husband.

Dr. Jeremy Boyle, PhD, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Dr. Boyle is a relationship and mental health expert with over 11 years of experience counseling couples, families, and individuals on how to change and improve the relationships they have with all the different areas of their lives. Dr. Boyle can help you improve your relationship with the important people and things you interact with on a daily basis. Whether it’s your relationship with your spouse, your children, your siblings, your money, your job, your faith, your sexual relationship, your physical health or your overall mental health, Dr. Boyle can help you find a more fulfilling way to relate to these and other areas of your life. Dr. Boyle has years of experience educating others through classes, presentations and training on various topics including: Marriage/Couple Relationships, Family Relationships, Parenting, Money and Relationships, Divorce, Suicide, Job/Life Stress, Depression, Anxiety, and many more. Dr. Boyle has shared his expertise by providing education/training to the community, to other professionals, and teaching for the Department of Family Studies and Human Services at Kansas State University. Dr. Boyle is the Clinical Director of Swinton & Associates Counseling and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He has a Master’s Degree and a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. He is a Clinical Fellow and an Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. When Dr. Boyle is not busy counseling individuals, couples and families on how change and improve their relationships and mental health, he enjoys spending time with and enhancing his own relationships with his wife, children, extended family, and friends.

Stacie Sears, MSW, Certified Social Worker

Stacie Sears marriage counselingStacie works with individuals and with couples, inclusive of all partner and family configurations. She draws on both research-based approaches and humanistic methods to treat the whole person. Stacie has completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She incorporates Gottman Method Couples Therapy and the work of Dr. William J. Doherty in her couples work. Couples therapy can provide a supportive setting to work on trust, intimacy, communication skills, and healthier approaches for dealing with conflict. Stacie’s other professional and personal interests include anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and dying and death. She helps clients transform their traumatic experiences and memories, and work through the complex issues that arise from traumatic events. Stacie also works with clients encountering trauma from cancer diagnosis and treatment, and other life-altering and life-threatening conditions. When not working with clients, Stacie enjoys being with her husband and sons, friends, listening to Chopin’s Nocturnes, and gazing at and hiking the Wasatch Mountain Range.

Dr. Jonathan Swinton, PhD, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Relationship expert, Dr. Jonathan Swinton, PhD is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He has a Masters degree and a PhD in marriage and family therapy. He is a Certified Medical Family Therapist, and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Swinton is the founder and Executive Director of Swinton & Associates Counseling. He has been published in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy, and Families, Systems, and Health. He has published dozens of articles on relationships in magazines and online self-help sites, and is often featured as a relationship expert on television and radio stations. PESI Inc., a national continuing education seminar provider, has sent Dr. Swinton across the country to train therapists on the keys to counseling couples. He taught for the Department of Family Studies and Human Services at Kansas State University and was awarded the Human Ecology Alumni Entrepreneur Award from Kansas State University. He serves on the Kansas State University Human Ecology Alumni Advisory Board and the Waterford School Alumni Council. He is a husband and father, and enjoys helping individuals, couples, and families with their relationships.
