Parking: There are several convenient places you can park when you come in for an appointment.
1. I provide complimentary parking validations for the Kearns Bulding parking lot. It is a bit tricky to find, so please read these instructions carefully if you plan to park there. You can enter the lot from 100 South between Main Street and West Temple Street (see the second map below for more details). The entrance is on the south side of the street. Simply get a ticket when you go through the parking entrance and bring it with you to the session. I will provide you with validations. The parking lot is behind Kearns Building. There are a few reserved visitor stalls you can use that are right behind the Kearns Building, but you can park anywhere in the lot. You can enter the building directly from the parking lot through the doors under the green awning on the back of the building. If there is a “LOT FULL” sign at the entrance to the parking lot, you can still try coming in. They often put that up discourage people going to the City Creek Mall and conference attendees going to the Salt Palace from parking there.
2. There is parking available on Main Street in front of my building (see first map below). There are some free spaces right in front of the building. Most of the parking on Main Street is metered. There are new convenient pay stations that allow you to pay the small fees with credit cards, so no need to look for spare change.
3. Parking at the City Creek Center Mall is free for the first hour, and is only $1 for each hour after that. There are several entrances to the underground City Creek parking just around the corner from my office. Including an entrance directly across the street from the Kearns Building parking lot. This entrance is also reflected on the second map below.
Public Transportation: I am also conveniently located just steps from the City Center TRAX stop. For more information on the TRAX schedule and routes click here.
Cycling: If you come on a bicycle, there are bicycle racks conveniently located just north and south of the front of the Kearns Building on Main Street.
